Olivia

Hi All! My name is Olivia and I am the Operations Coordinator at the Carnegie Tsinghua Center for Global Policy.

As a part of my portfolio I oversee the Young Ambassador Program (YAP), our effort to engage the next generation of leaders in the realm of international relations. That is where the Young China Watchers Mentorship program comes in. During the academic year we have a cohort of Young Ambassadors participating in the mentorship program. I work with the YCW team in Beijing to match the students in YAP with the mentors from the Beijing YCW network. Currently in its third year, this partnership has seen a number of lifelong friendships and mentorships begin. It has been a joy to see students come out of the shells and make real connections that will follow them long after they complete their time at CTC.

Olivia Lamb is the Operations Coordinator for the Carnegie Tsinghua Center. She came out to Beijing in May of 2016 after completing her Masters in Asian Studies at Georgetown University. Since coming to Beijing, she has also tried her had a number of community and entrepreneurial endeavors including Tianmi Bakery, Umoja, and BlackEXPO.
