Young China Watchers (YCW) is seeking a new Director of Operations and Director of Membership in San Francisco.

YCW is an all volunteer organization focused on connecting and educating the next generation of China thought-leaders through forums and other events, including a speaker series that has attracted top policymakers and academics.

Since the inception of our SF chapter in 2015, we have attracted +1,000 attendees to forums that featured speakers such as Orville Schell, Francis Fukuyama, Susan Shirk, and Harry Harding. We are part of a global network of nine cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Brussels, Berlin, New York, Singapore) with nearly 5,000 highly engaged members.

Our growth now leads us to seek new leaders for the San Francisco chapter. Both Directors will work alongside Head of YCW SF Fred Tsai and Co-Founder Alistair Thornton in driving YCW SF’s ambitious strategy and operations.

Please email us (sf@youngchinawatchers.com) a CV and a brief note outlining your interest. Do include details such as 1) your current involvement with YCW, 2) your commitment to supporting an event every ~6wks, 3) the aspects of YCW that appeal to you, and 4) any speaker/topic ideas, or more creative ideas that can help YCW fulfill its mission to connect and educate today’s China-engaged young professionals.

Applications due April 15, 2017
