Peter Wilson is Director for Far Eastern Affairs at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, responsible for handling relations with China, Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, and North and South Korea. He was previously Political Counsellor at the British Embassy in Beijing.
