Esther Wong
Esther is the Managing Director for SenseTime and founding partner of SenseTime industry fund with assets of 5 billion RMB. Before joining SenseTime, she had 20 years’ experience in the investment banking industry with her last role being head of equity capital markets at Bocom International.
With a valuation of 6 billion USD, SenseTime is China’s leading artificial intelligence company with Asia’s largest deep learning platform. SenseTime has worked with over 700 domestic and overseas entities including Honda, Qualcomm, China Mobile, UnionPay, Huawei, Tencent, etc and its technology encompasses various scenarios such as facial recognition, image recognition, intelligent video analytics, autonomous driving, medical image recognition, etc. Sensetime is working with Alibaba and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park to create the HK AI Laboratory to transform Hong Kong into an innovation hub.
