carnegietsinghuaThe Carnegie–Tsinghua Center for Global Policy, the Beijing center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking to hire a Development Coordinator. This position will report to the Center Director for the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy.

The Development Coordinator position supports the fundraising and development efforts at the Carnegie–Tsinghua Center, through close work with the Center’s Director and staff, as well as Carnegie’s development team in Washington, DC, to develop and execute effective strategies for securing gifts of regional support; plan and execute development meetings and events in strategic Chinese cities; and provide support for the development solicitations with the aim of meeting Carnegie’s annual revenue goals.

Primary responsibilities include building and managing a major gifts prospect list for the Carnegie–Tsinghua Center and Carnegie’s regional efforts, working in conjunction with CEIP’s prospect research manager to perform prospect research and analysis on individuals and institutions, responding to requests for proposals and grant applications, coordinating pitch and marketing material needs through CTC communications team, drafting emails, biographies, and company snapshots for development purposes; drafting internal development strategy updates and reports; tracking and maintaining records of development activities; and helping to maintain the development contact database.
