The 2015/2016 CTC-YCW Mentorship Program revolved around regular meetings between mentors and mentees. The pairs met about six times over the program, and conversations broadly centered on career aspirations, job hunting techniques, facilitating introductions, and discussion of China-related policy themes. One mentor said, “Being a mentor in the program has been an incredibly rewarding experience. China can be difficult to navigate when you’re just starting out and this gave me a chance to share some of my experiences… and mistakes”.

Our inaugural program closed on June 2016, and we are thrilled that our CTC mentees have gone on to pursue exciting careers and further education. Our YCW Mentors did a brilliant job helping to get this program off the ground, and we are happy to have played a part in helping grow and engage our community.

We will recruit our 2016/2017 program this month and we hope that more of our members will take this opportunity to share their diverse experiences and contribute to this initiative and our ever-growing global YCW community! For more information follow this link.
