Professor David Shambaugh
Professor Shambaugh is an internationally recognized authority and author on contemporary China and the international relations of Asia, with a strong interest in the European Union and transatlantic issues.
Before joining the faculty at George Washington, he held the positions of Reader in Chinese Politics at the University of London’s School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS) and Editor of The China Quarterly.
