Christopher M. Schroeder is a tech media entrepreneur, global venture capitalist and CEO focused on Silicon Valley and international consumer, fin-tech, media companies and advocating/mentoring global entrepreneurship. He is a writer, speaker and moderator on entrepreneurship, innovation and global economies and markets. He wrote the best selling Startup Rising: The Entrepreneurial Revolution Remaking the Middle East. He also served in leading management roles in President George Bush’s 1988 and 1992 election campaigns, and worked on Secretary of State James A. Baker’s staff with then Under Secretary (and recent President of the World Bank) Robert Zoellick. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College majoring in Diplomatic History with a minor in Ancient History and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
