Share Your Perspective on China
Have you ever thought about writing about China? Young China Watchers is looking for writers to help our community understand more about China and its relationships with the rest of the world.
We are committed to providing a platform for the next generation of China watchers to hone their thinking on China through events and networking opportunities — and now through editorial writing as well.
We are now actively calling for writers to join our Contributing Writer program. Each writer will be expected to contribute three written pieces per three-month period on topics including 1. Business, Tech, and Careers, 2. Culture and Society, and 3. International Relations and Geopolitics, especially as these topics overlap with events organized by our chapters around the world. If you’re not able to commit to the full three, you’re still welcome to submit a piece as an individual contributor.
Each piece will be published on the Young China Watchers website and supported with an accompanying LinkedIn post linking to the article, both of which will feature your name as the author.
We welcome writers with China experience from anywhere, not just the cities where YCW has active chapters. If you think you’d like to get involved, please reach out! Send an email to kmention@youngchinawatchers.com with your name and a brief paragraph detailing why you’d like to write and what kinds of topics you think you could write on, and we can take it from there. We look forward to hearing from you!
