Join the Inaugural China–ASEAN Youth Dialogue

In collaboration with Foreign Policy Talks

Young China Watchers Hong Kong (YCWHK) is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with Foreign Policy Talks for the inaugural China–ASEAN Youth Dialogue, to be held on 6 June 2026.

This dialogue will provide a cross-border platform for young professionals across the region to exchange insights, deepen understanding, and build meaningful connections across disciplines, at a time of significant geopolitical shifts reshaping China–ASEAN relations.

We are now opening applications for the YCWHK community to participate in the dialogue. Ten selected participants from YCWHK will join a cohort of ten delegates curated by Foreign Policy Talks, ensuring a high level of intellectual exchange and analytical rigor.

The session will follow a structured yet interactive format centered on the following theme:

How Global Turbulence Impacts China–ASEAN Relations

Discussions will draw on key findings from the State of Southeast Asia Survey 2026 conducted by particularly in examining how regional perceptions of China and the United States and strategies are evolving amid recent geopolitical developments.
